Question:

Are fees reduced for indigent individuals and non-profit organizations?
Answer:

If an individual entitled to information submits an affidavit stating that they are indigent and receiving public assistance, or stating facts showing an inability to pay the cost because of indigence, the County shall furnish a record without charge for the first $20 and may reduce the fee charged.  Non-profit organizations designated under the Development Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act of 2000 or the Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness Act may also qualify for a fee waiver subject to the requirements of FOIA.
